An ensemble performed music in "The Beast" at the Hyde Park Art Center on 7.27.2014, playing textures and melodies that came from recognizable instruments, while also evoking sonic translations of The Beast’s facets. The performers included Angel Elmore (piano, clarinet), Adam Zanolini (flute, tenor saxophone, djembe), Spencer Hutchinson (alto saxophone, percussion, visuals) and Dan Godston (cornet, small instruments) -- as well as audience members who joined in with hand percussion during the final two segments.
